I had an awesome time documenting Natalie and Matthew's gorgeous wedding at the historic Narragansett Towers.

Natalie and Matt are both artists and did a fantastic job of preparing their handmade details for the wedding day. Following their ceremony and some portraits by the water, the celebration continued with a night of non-stop dancing. This couple had lots of great ideas for fun photos, and really knew how to let loose and celebrate their day!

I had a great time spending the weekend out on Block Island photographing the beautiful wedding of Carolyn and Jon.

I already knew how great the couple looked on camera together since shooting their engagement session last year, and had been looking forward to photographing their wedding day for a long time coming.

Carolyn and Jon were wed at the Atlantic Inn, a venue that boasts of never having it have rained during a ceremony there, and sure enough we had an absolutely gorgeous day out on the island. Following their outdoor ceremony we snuck off for some couple's photos, followed by dinner and an evening of dancing by the sunset.

AS220 photo lottery

My own personal work from my series of the abandoned churches of Europe, along with the work of over a hundred other photographers, will be on display and available to win at the 2009 AS220 Photo Lottery on Saturday, May 30 from 6-9pm.

The Photo Lottery allows patrons to purchase a ticket to take home a random work of art from the gallery. All proceeds directly support the Paul Krot Darkroom, the only public darkroom facilities in Rhode Island; and the AS220 photo program, who continue to provide low and no cost education along with free events to grow the artistic community.

mcgovern's on the water wedding

Yesterday I had the privilege of photographing the wedding day of Robin and Keith, a really sweet couple who were wed at McGovern's On The Water is Massachusetts. Despite the forecast, we were able to beat the passing showers and had perfect weather with nice soft light for portraits and an outdoor ceremony.

Robin and Keith had such great chemistry together on camera that they made my job of taking relaxed, natural portraits of each other effortless.

This weekend I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Tonya and Arismendy, a cool couple who really knew how to have fun and enjoy their wedding day.

After a nice outdoor ceremony, the reception at the West Valley Inn followed with a night full of fun, laughter, and plenty of dancing.
